Top 10 Uses of Lavender Essential Oil…a must have!

Lavender oil is one of our family favorites! As the mother of five boys, I have ample opportunity to CALM things down! When I talk about Lavender essential oil, oftentimes I say something like “Lavender is ALL things CALMING!”

Taken from the highly aromatic lavender flower, lavender oil has been used for centuries for its distinct aroma and powerful benefits. Anciently, the Romans and Egyptians would use Lavender as perfume and for bathing and cooking. Since that time, many have discovered the myriad benefits that Lavender holds—using Lavender oil topically for skin, internally to ease feelings of tension and promote restful sleep* and more.   1. Whether you are trying to soothe skin irritation or merely nourish delicate skin, there are many uses of Lavender essential oil for skin. The soothing properties of Lavender have made it a popular option for skincare products, at-home skincare DIYs, and simple topical application.
